As an Art Practitioner

My art practice connects life-stage inquiries with art interventions, resolving personal dilemmas while offering a gentle critique of social mechanisms. It confronts the comprehensive capitalisation and valuation of contemporary life and creative fields catalysed by online media, particularly an obsession with smooth, hyper-aestheticised surfaces.

From 2022-24, shaped by a diasporic experience of rental mobility between Taipei and London, and using critical spatial and site-specific methods learned at The Bartlett, her project Real AIstate—shortlisted for the second-round selection of the National Art Exhibition of Taiwan 2024—examined real estate, advertising, and spatial aesthetics under capitalism, exploring how consumerism shapes public perception.

Subsequently, returning to labour-market discipline and engaging in ceramics as a method of enacting architecture through bodily labour, her focus has shifted to labour as a profound paradox—simultaneously a site of artisanal reverence and structural capitalist exploitation.
